Team Fordzilla adds three new drivers to the roster

Say hello to the fresh faces of Team Fordzilla!

Since launching in August 2019, Team Fordzilla has gone through quite the growth spurt. It was always the goal to restructure the team in 2022 to focus on each individual gaming platform. So, it’s not surprising that the three new drivers each boast their own niche within esports.

Representing the rFactor 2 and V10 R-League side of gaming is Peyo Peev, a Bulgarian sim racer who won a GT Pro Series race in 2021 and finished third in the ABB Formula E Race at Home Series (Sim) in 2020.

Most recently, Peev competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual Series with Team Project 1 alongside fellow drivers Riccardo Pera, Nicholas Hillebrand, and Zbigniew Siara.

The Bulgarian tweeted today that he’s excited about the new journey and looking forward to pushing himself “to new heights.”

Over on the iRacing side of the track, Josh Poulain and Tom Burns have also signed with Team Fordzilla.

Poulain was part of the R8G Academy Team (Romain Grosjean’s junior squad) who raced in the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB this past year. Just a few weeks ago, the 18-year-old announced on his Instagram that he would be racing with Team Fordzilla for VCO Infinity and even alluded to a future announcement.

The English iRacing driver even spent his former years competing in the British Kart Championships, winning the Senior Rotax from 2019 to 2021.

Alongside Poulain, is Tom Burns, who also specializes in iRacing, and competed in the iRacing Sebring 12HR in 2021 with teammates Rhys Caryl and Alex Richardson.

He’s new to Twitter, so be sure to follow his journey — as well as Peyo Peev and Josh Poulain — with Team Fordzilla. Welcome to the squad, boys!
