Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series

It was a Mercedes-AMG one-two as the innovative racing esports competition that supports the SRO’s GT World Challenge series began its third season.

The esports series that blurs the line between the GT World Challenge and virtual racing returns for a third season this weekend.

Niklas Nielsen won the final Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series race of the season, but it was Daniel Juncadella and the AKKODIS ASP Team who were crowned overall champions.

Daniel Juncadella held off the advances of Tommaso Mosca to take an overall win in the Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series from Hockenheim.

Tommaso Mosca of AKKODIS ASP emerged victorious from Round 2 of the Fanatec Esports GT Pro series at Paul Ricard.

The unique esports competition will see real-world drivers take part during race weekends and for GT World Challenge Teams’ championship points.
