The offshoot for one of Traxion’s favourite indie racing game series now has a release date – Super Woden Rally Edge arrives on 15th January 2026 for PC via Steam.
In a social media reply, console versions (Super Woden GP 2 arrived for PlayStation, Switch and Xbox) are expected within “five-six months max”, according to the solo-developer Victor Justo Dacruz aka ViJuDa.

In Rally Edge, which, as the name suggests, narrows down the vehicle and competition genre type from the wider mainline franchise entries, and changes the driving perspective to chase-camera.
It captivated us earlier in the year when a small demo became available. We said: “This fleeting hands-on has us reaching for the tripmeters and maps in anticipation of its completion.”

The main gameplay will be in the Rally Edge Campaign, where ‘hundreds’ of cars can be unlocked, each in the stylised low-poly retro look. You’ll be competing against the clock in six countries, each with a distinct setting. Car upgrades and even keeping it clean are part of the in-between event workload.
Alongside the traditional rally format, there are said to be “Gymkhana-style” and Pikes Peak-style” events.

Outside of the main career, there is time trial (with online leaderboards), local split-screen (up to four players) and weekly challenges.
There series is known for enjoyable vehicle dynamics mixed with a car list that, while fictional, includes knowing nods to both well-known and esoteric rare grooves.
