Following its January Steam release, Super Woden: Rally Edge is set to launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 2nd September, with Eastasiasoft handling the console port.
After that, Funbox Media will publish a physical version in Europe and America on 30th October, with pre-orders now live for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. As a surprise bonus, the physical version will bundle Super Woden Rally Edge with its two track-based predecessors, Super Woden GP and Super Woden GP 2, along with the soundtracks for all three games.
Funbox Media previously published the physical version of Super Woden GP 2, which also included the original game on disc and cartridge.
While a native Switch 2 version of Super Woden Rally Edge is not planned, the original Switch version will presumably be backwards compatible on Nintendo’s new console.
The rally spin-off sees you progress through events presented on an interactive map, earning funds to upgrade and customise your car.
Since its January release, Super Woden Rally Edge has been a surprise success, achieving record player numbers for the series.
