As the weekends merge into the weekdays for many of us under various forms of lockdown restrictions, one thing remains constant. It’s a Monday, so the GT Sport Daily Races have been updated.

Starting 8th February and ending 14th February 2021, here’s what the game has in store for you this week.

Gt Sport Daily Races 8th February 2021

We kick off with a pair of iconic Honda Type Rs for Race A this time around. The Integra Type R (DC2) or the Civic Type R (EK) – both from 1998 and in the N200 class – can be used around the full-length Red Bull ring over four laps. Championship White is a must. We know the meme is old now, but any excuse. THE VTEC KICKED IN, YO!

On to Daily Race B, which this week sees the KYOTO DRIVING PARK – YAMAGIWA layout used for any Gr.3 car in your garage. Another four-lap affair, all tyre wear and fuel consumption are switched off for this one, so it’s a 15-minute sprint in some very tasty machinery. Seen as we have carte blanche with car selection, let’s make it a Honda too with the NSX Gr.3.

Can we make it three races with a Honda? Yes, kind of. Race C is using the epic Super Formula single-seaters from the Japanese race series for 11 laps around the challenging Suzuka circuit. You have the choice of a Toyota or Honda powertrain, so naturally, we’ll pick the Honda unit. With a 20-car grid, 2x fuel consumption, 8x tyre wear and a choice of either Racing Medium or Racing Soft tyres, this race is set to be a strategic test.
