SnowRunner Season 9: Renew & Rebuild goes live on 28th February

The first release of the SnowRunner Year 3 pass is heading our way by the end of February. On Monday (20th February), the folks behind the terrain simulation title over at Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment announced that SnowRunner Season 9: Renew & Rebuild is set to launch on 28th February.

Announced back in December, the Year 3 Pass will again include four seasons of content with another expansion scheduled to hit in Season 12. As for Season 9, there’s a great deal of content available for players, including two new trucks, two new maps, new activities and new add-ons.

Based in Ontario up North in the land of Canada (well, North for this writer, anyway), Renew & Rebuild is themed towards firefighting as players are tasked with helping out the areas affected by wildfire. There are two playable maps of the area (Albany River and Burnt Forest), each sized at four square kilometers.

Included are two new vehicles, one of which is a firetruck, the Derry Special 15C-177. The other is a ZiKZ 566A which is a “versatile Off-Road-class truck compatible with a wide variety of addons” per the release.

Alongside the DLC, there will be other updates and included features for all SnowRunners, even those who didn’t download the new content. The details can be found on the Focus Entertainment website.

After Season 9, the three following seasons (Season 10: Fix & Connect, Season 11: Lights & Cameras and Season 12: Expansion 3) are slated to also release at some point this year. No further details on them at this time.

SNOWRUNNER SEASON 9: Renew & Rebuild DLC RELEASE DATE

Players can get their hands on the Year 3 Pass now, available since 8th December 2022, but the Season 9: Renew & Rebuild content won’t be listed or available until 28th February. It will be available for players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
