Simucube and Ahlman Esport & Game Studio have partnered to offer two up-and-coming sim racers training for a professional career at the AhlmanEdu college in Finland.
The plan is to accelerate the growth of talented individuals through an esports educational experience lasting an entire year.
The pilot programme will include nutrition, sleep science, training regimes and personal branding training. More specifically, there will be personalised sim racing coaching using Simucube’s range of equipment, with its venerated wheel bases and ActivePedals part of the setup.

The selected participants will have 24/7 access to the Tampere campus, along with accommodation, healthy meals, gym facilities and comprehensive resources.
“This is a co-operation that felt just right when the opportunity came,” said Toni Nummela, strategist at Simucube
“We can help promising people in sim racing while getting a lot of new experience ourselves.”
The educational outpost is located in the same area as Simucube, and the company hopes that the students’ journeys will be shared with the sim racing community.
Entry for the first wave of applications is open until 14th May, with a summer application period between 1st and 20th July. Two applicants will be selected based on a points-based system before studies commence in August 2025 for 12 months. Pricing is €120 per week (includes lunch) or €190 per week including accommodation.

“This one-year esports bootcamp at AhlmanEdu is for those who want to train full-time at a high level, surrounded by like-minded individuals,” said Niklas Milén, Esports coach at AhlmanEdu.
“Real coaching, daily practice, team environment. You show up, you improve.
“We brought Simucube into the mix because it lets you feel the car. No delays, no second-guessing. Your hands talk straight to the tyres. Hardware, software, all made for solid performance. After that, it’s on you.
“Train at a high level, surrounded by like-minded individuals who also want to become dedicated esports professionals. This is your chance to prepare for the world of competitive gaming in an environment dedicated just for that.”
