The sim racing community and league platform Simracing.GP is now working with the world’s largest chip manufacturer to offer fresh competitions and prizes.

The relationship between Simracing.GP and Intel, announced 30th August 2023, will be first utilised in public at the Birmingham, UK, Insomnia Gaming Festival between 8th and 10th September.

There, visitors will be able to put their driving skills to the test on the Intel stand, with five sim rigs running Assetto Corsa Competizione hot lap leaderboards, organised races and industry influencer tests.

The platform majors on the creation and management of sim racing communities, and SGP Rivals will be a new cross-community and platform tournament, with the winners receiving a community donation – a new feature within Simracing.GP following its exit from beta – from Intel alongside driver prizes.

Ahead of the competition, five lucky SGP members will be selected to have their PC hardware upgraded, with an application form opening soon for users to tell their sim racing story.

Community races will also be organised to celebrate Intel’s Gamers Days PC equipment promotion, which runs for 11 days between 24th August and 3rd September.
