Sim-Lab will present its Porsche 963 Hypercar steering wheel at this year’s SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, 16th-18th October.

The new wheel is based on the one used in Porsche’s LMDh racecar, which currently competes in the US-based IMSA series against Acura, Aston Martin, BMW and Cadillac, and won the most recent endurance round, the Petit Le Mans, over the weekend.

Porsche also successfully campaigned the car in the FIA World Endurance Championship between 2023 and 2025, securing four overall wins before the factory withdrew its support.

The steering wheel, which has already made its public debut, comes with a suitable number of buttons, switches and a large screen, making it a strong match for the virtual Hypercars found in Le Mans Ultimate, RaceRoom, iRacing and Automobilista 2.

The Dutch sim racing hardware manufacturer will also showcase two wheelbases from its upcoming DDS TorqueSync range at the Expo, the DDS26 and DDS39, producing 26 Nm and 39 Nm of torque, respectively. Visitors can try both the new wheelbases and the Porsche wheel at the Expo.
