Rennsport’s R1 competition to culminate at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt

• Rennsport’s R1 competition returns for a Fall season

• Finale in-person during the SimRacing Expo Frankfurt

Rennsport will once again be present at the SimRacing Expo, with this year’s European event held in Frankfurt.

Its R1 sim racing competition will hold its in-person title-deciding final at the event.

A share of the €10,000 prize pool is up for grabs, with the six final teams reaching the German showdown, where the distinct Finalist Mode will be used to determine the winners.

The Fall Season is open to teams now, via a registration form. Six teams are already confirmed, but there is a hotlap qualifying period between 10th (today) and 16th August 2026.

Once that process is complete, the Fall R1 season begins, with four online rounds, broadcast live and utilising a unique split group system.

A similar format was used earlier this year, with Porsche Coanda Esports winning. That team included Joshua Rogers, who just won his first real-world car race.

The SimRacing Expo Frankfurt runs between 16th and 18th October 2026 inside the Messe Frankfurt. Rennsport is the first game or simulation confirmed for the event, with more expected. Tickets are on sale now.
