Saber Interactive is set to follow up the huge success of its heavy plant sim RoadCraft by releasing a full-fledged trucking title.

Previewed on the opening night of Gamescom 2025, Road Kings pits players against the harsh environments of the American South, where the aim is to build up your trucking business and make successful deliveries, battling a harsh climate and rival firms on the way.

Based on real roads in the states of Florida and  Georgia, Road Kings will feature authentically accurate and customisable trucks, with official licenses and realistic driving systems. In many ways, Road Kings emulates SCS Software’s American Truck Simulator, combined with elements of Saber’s massively successful Snowrunner (ironically, console listings for ATS appeared just this week).

The game will also contain dynamic weather and road conditions, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC versions set to release in 2026. Players will also be glad to hear the game will contain asynchronous multiplayer with crossplay.

“Together, we’re aiming to deliver a deeper gameplay experience and a more dynamic adventure for players,” states John Bert, Managing Director of Road Kings’ publisher Focus Entertainment.

“We can’t wait for fans to get behind the wheel and discover everything this new title has to offer,” he concluded.
