Following recent teasers and announcements, Rennsport has confirmed via social media that its first update of 2026 will arrive in “early March”.
Following a spate of hotfixes and patches last year following its November early access exit and console release, this year has been barren by comparison.
However, changes are on the way. An update that will include the Hyundai N Vision 74, Kuala Lumpur circuit and two alternative track layouts (Fuji Speedway and Road Atlanta) will arrive next month.

“Long story short, [the] first update to Rennsport of 2026 will be in early March,” said Kim Orremark, Creative Director at Rennsport.
Quality-of-life changes and bug fixes are also expected as part of this patch, but are not yet confirmed.
At the same time, an Endurance-themed paid DLC pack including three classic cars and the Le Mans circuit will be released.
More cars for current classes
The aforementioned Hyundai, however, stands alone as a unique vehicle, with no in-game contemporary rivals presently.
During the same announcement, the creation team also confirmed that across 2026, it is aiming to add more vehicles to existing car classes.
“And this is not the only content we plan to release this year because for this year, we have a very specific goal, right, Kim, which is to fill up the car classes that we already have in the game,” said Lucas Bender, Junior PR & Communication Manager at Rennsport.

“So our main goal, when we looked at the… feedback points that we have gathered since launch. We know we had to do something about the single player and the AI, but also we need to make sure we satisfy the content need,” continued Orremark.
“If you look at the game currently, we have already quite many car classes, but what we might lack is variety within those classes.
With that, we want to make sure that we fill up the classes we have as much as possible. More cars, better diversity, better racing.”
Of those currently represented, real-world motorsport categories that could be expanded upon within Rennsport include GT4, GT3, TCR and LMDh/Hypercar.
