As we near nearly a month since Rennsport exited early access and simultaneously released on PlayStation and Xbox, a third major patch has arrived.
The development teams at Competition Company and Teyon have released version 1.1.6 today, 8th December 2025.
It features a long list of claimed changes and fixes, chief of which is “improved the cull distance” for trackside objects – something we noted in previews and our review.
There are also further tweaks to the replay system, which has proved to be problematic.
Single-player AI-powered opponents undergo another set of changes – they now use traction control to make them “more stable” and can power up the hill at Spa, among other items.

Online competitions are said to be more stable, and console players have further control over rebinding options.
The full changelog is below, and further updates are expected imminently to assist with fundamental inadequacies. A mix of free and paid DLC content is expected throughout 2026. The full patch notes are listed below.
Some users are reporting a log-in issue in the wake of this update – the game is always online – which is, according to the creation team, being investigated.
