It has been previously confirmed that nascent sim racing platform Rennsport will head to Steam at some point, and now it looks a little closer with a wishlist on Valve’s storefront now possible.
The Competition Company’s sim racing platform uses Epic’s Unreal Engine technology for its graphics and when its open beta became available in July, it was exclusive to the Epic Games Store – as it has been for the closed beta.
“Steam is very important to us,” said Rennsport CEO Morris Hebecker during a 6th July video.
With the game’s page now live on Steam, and the wishlist option available, of note, it is listed under the ‘early access’ programme.
When the open beta launched, alongside optional Founders Packs, Rennsport clarified that early access would be the next phase of launch between the beta and a ‘version 1.0’ release.
No date for the Steam release or early access phase has been provided.
