A new update is about to hit mobile racing game Real Racing 3, and it includes three hot new cars and a new circuit variation. It also marks the start of Round 9 within the popular driving portable title.
The update will launch on 21st June 2022.
Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06
The current C8 generation of Corvette sparked a GM-performance car revival, thanks to its mid-engine layout and spry handling.
The Z06 cranks this up to 11, with additional aerodynamic appendages and 670bhp – the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 currently in production. This is also the first time this model has appeared in gaming.
You can earn this car by competing in the Chevrolet C8 Z06 Limited Series event that runs for seven starts, starting 25th July 2022.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE
A second contemporary Chevrolet has been added in a big update for fans of the US bowtie.
The Camaro is more of a muscle car than the out-and-out sportscar that is its Corvette brethren. It’s bigger and heavier but still packs a V8 punch.
This is the Round 9 grand prize if you earn enough victory points.
Aston Martin Valhalla Concept
This one is a little complicated, so bear with me. The Aston Martin Valhalla was going to be a new generation of Ferrari-challenging mid-engine supercar from the British manufacturer. To build up anticipation, a concept version was unveiled and it featured in the 007 film No Time To Die plus Rocket League and Forza Horizon 5.
Awkwardly, new parent company owners stepped in and dramatically changed the design of the vehicle.
So this is the first original design, that will sadly never see production form. It can be yours by successfully completing the five-day Victory or Valhalla event that starts on 21st June 2022.
Revised Formula E New York City Street Circuit
To tie in with the real-world Formula E New York City E-Prix which happens between 15th and 16th July, this latest Real Racing 3 update adds the current and revised track layout.
There is also a new Formula E 2022 New York City E-Prix in-game five-day event that uses the new layout starting 7th July.
