R8G Esports has just announced the signing of two of the quickest rFactor 2 sim racers around – Jiri Toman and Marcell Csincsik.
Toman, 24, of the Czech Republic, has already won the LMP2 Virtual Endurance Championship (VEC) and has finished on the Le Mans Virtual Series (LMVS) podium this year, and has also proved successful in GT Pro – broadcast live right here on Traxion. He has claimed many race wins and championship titles throughout his sim racing career, including the Formula SimRacing Pro Championship way back in 2014, but has recently enjoyed great success in rFactor 2.
Likewise, Csincsik has also had an extremely successful 2021, winning the overall Virtual Endurance Championship crown with Varga SimRacing. In addition, he reached the finals of the Sim Formula Europe competition, and placed second in the BMW Sim Live event – one spot ahead of Toman. Csincsik, 22, also took his maiden win in the GT Pro Series this season, claiming the Sprint Race laurels before the Hungarian followed up with seventh in the feature race.
Toman and Csincsik have both had impressive 2021 seasons, and with Romain Grosjean’s esports team building towards a strong 2022 with the likes of Erhan Jajovski (BMW Sim Live winner) and Risto Kappet already on their roster, they look set for a very successful year in rFactor 2.
