Project Motor Racing’s latest car DLC pack has been unveiled, with the V8 Power Pack bringing new cars and an additional circuit.

Set to launch in September, the DLC pack adds nine V8-powered race cars across the Aus V8 Evo, USV8 and Historic USV8 categories, from Australian touring cars to classic US road racers.

The 2023 Ford Mustang AU and 2023 Chevrolet Camaro AU join the Aus V8 Evo class, while the 2022 Dodge Challenger TA/2, 2022 Ford Mustang TA/2 and 2022 Camaro TA/2 make up the USV8 class.

Rounding out the new cars are the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 TA, 1970 Plymouth Barracuda TA, 1970 AMC Javelin TA and 1968 Camaro TA Z28 in the Historic USV8 class.

Accompanying the nine cars is a laser-scanned version of the Road Atlanta circuit, bolstering the track roster.

Pricing details are yet to be confirmed, but the V8 Power Pack will be released on 15th September.

In the meantime, Gamescom visitors can test drive the Lamborghini Temerario in Project Motor Racing this week in hall 6 before it’s added for free in September.

The sim racing title will also host a competition challenging players to set the fastest lap in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, with prizes up for grabs including a Spark Audi R8 LMP diecast model.

The DLC announcement follows a series of patch updates improving the sim racing title since its rocky launch last year, with the most recent overhauling the  Le Mans Hypercar driving physics.
