Having reviewed Project Motor Racing on build ‘Version 1.4’, billed as inclusive of the traditional ‘Day 1 patch’, the development team has worked on its next update, 1.5.
This is expected to be released ‘soon’ after the game is available, possibly even later the same day (25th November) – it’s currently awaiting Xbox approval to make sure all platforms are on the same build to enable cross-platform play.
Of note, there are said to be changes to the way N-GT cars behave under braking, one of the Traxion team’s bugbears. However, the patch notes do not mention AI behaviour, potentially significant visual upgrades or alterations to the track limits system.
While commendable to have a quick flow of updates, we await what we would categorise as significant steps forward.
