It was previously confirmed for a public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed event later this week, but Project Motor Racing has now firmed up what to expect from the British motor show.
Located near the hillclimb’s start line, on Stand 8, a dedicated stand (with three rigs) will allow sim racing fans the opportunity to test the upcoming title several months ahead of its release.
The following cars can be driven at the show:
- Lola T70 Mk3B GT
- Aston Martin DBR9
- Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2
- Panoz LMP1 Roadster S
Of those, the Panoz and Aston Martin have not been driven in-game by anyone outside of a closed feedback programme and the development team. The circuit in use, however, is simply touted as “one of the game’s most detailed tracks.”
The Lamborghini and Lola were driven by Traxion at a media event in April, and we’re keen to see if the driving experience has evolved since then.
Three-time grand prix winner and 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans victor Johnny Herbert will also be on the stand – at times, to be confirmed, across the weekend – likely in his abasadorial role for Lola.
Racing driver, former Stig (Top gear) and current Project Motor Racing Dirving Consultant Ben Collins is also expected to make an appearance.
The quickest times across the weekend could win a free code for the game come its launch later this year.

Project Motor Racing will release on 25th November 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Meanwhile, the Festival of Speed runs from 10th to 13th July, although at the time of publication, only tickets for Thursday are currently still available.
