Good news! Olli’s Garage Racing’s Dacia Logan will be on display at this year’s SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, 16th-18th October.
The rather humdrum Romanian saloon car has become a fan favourite over the years, mainly thanks to its incongruous presence among the GT exotica of the Nürburgring 24 Hours and Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) field.
However, the OGR team has also inspired the racing fraternity with its never-say-die attitude, something that became apparent after a car-killing incident during the 2023 race. The old Logan was a write-off, but the team rebuilt the project around an all-new car, retaining the distinctive Logan body shape in the process.
Based on a Dacia Logan Cup car, the OGR example has a 280 bhp Renault Mégane RS engine under the bonnet and a full sequential paddle-shift gearbox, so it’s a bit quicker than many expect – which just adds to the charm.

SimRacing Expo Frankfurt takes place between the 16th and 18th October 2026 and features some of the industry’s biggest hitters. So far, hardware giants Fanatec, Moza and Asetek have all pledged to attend, while Project Motor Racing and Rennsport will represent sim software. This year’s Expo will also feature a live stage element, which is set to feature guest speakers, and will also showcase the live in-person final of Rennsport’s R1 esports competition, where top sim racing teams battle it out for a share of a €10,000 prize pool.
