Next Level Racing has unveiled a brand new sim racing cockpit to sit at the very top of its range – the F-GT Elite 160, and there’s also a special Scuderia Ferrari Edition.

Sitting above the existing F-GT Elite in the range – which is currently available in Wheel Plate, Front & Side Mount and iRacing editions –  the F-GT Elite 160 remains an aluminium extrusion cockpit, which the Australian equipment manufacturer states is flex-free.

It is said to feature ‘near-finite’ adjustability and customisation options and can be used in a laid-back formula set-up, a more upright GT-style position or somewhere in-between.

Unlike other Next Level Racing sim cockpits, however, there appears to be extensive use of a carbon fibre-look for the various appendages.

The F-GT Elite 160 Scuderia Ferrari Edition takes things even further with the use of an official Prancing Horse licenced product. It’s the result of a partnership that was announced in April 2022.

It includes the fêted Ferrari shield on the cockpit’s chassis alongside a black and red livery. First global deliveries are expected in May 2023. Like the existing F-GT Elite, three variants will be available.

“We are thrilled to announce the release of the F-GT Elite 160 Scuderia Ferrari Edition, which represents the pinnacle of our partnership with Ferrari,” said Hess Ghah, CEO of Next Level Racing.

“The new flagship F-GT Elite 160 range of cockpits combines our commitment to innovation and quality with premium design and engineering, resulting in an unmatched sim racing experience.

“The F-GT Elite 160 Scuderia Ferrari Edition is a testament to our dedication to providing the best possible products to our customers, and we are honoured to have worked with Ferrari to bring this exceptional simulator to market.”

Optional Ferrari seat

A branded ES1 Scuderia Ferrari Edition Seat will also be available separately, which sees the Prancing Horse emblazoned on the headrest area.

The ‘regular’ ES1 is a five-axis rotationally moulded polymer seat with a PU moulded foam insert featuring a suede finish. It’s currently available in either Next Level Racing’s black and red combination or as an official Ford GT version.
