Following on from the WRC 10 reveal last month, which focussed primarily on the 50th-anniversary content, a new trailer showcases one of the new 2021 rallies in action.

The WRC Croatia Rally was held for the first time in April, won by Sébastien Ogier in dramatic fashion on the last stage, beating teammate Elfyn Evans by a scant six-tenths of a second.

In this latest footage for the WRC 10 game, we see the current-specification official WRC cars powering around the new asphalt stages. While there is no in-car or third-person perspective gameplay footage yet, the dramatic vision shows off a surface that looks to have significant texture and detailed surroundings.

This will be one of four new events within the game, joining WRC Rally RACC Catalunya – Rally de España, WRC Rally Estonia and WRC Renties Ypres Rally Belgium. Greece – which is a late addition to the real-life WRC calendar for this season – is also set to be added to the roster, but for now, is only confirmed for the historic mode.

That’s a lot of new stages that need developing for this yearly release, the team at Kylotonn must be very busy at present!

WRC 10 is released on the 2nd September 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC (Steam) – Nintendo Switch will follow at a later date – and we’ll have more about the game ahead of its launch.
