After a chaotic Dutch Grand Prix, where home hero Max Verstappen claimed his ninth win in a row, developer Frontier Developments has released a new batch of Race Replays for F1 Manager 2023, including new ‘Grid Start’ and ‘Race Moment’ scenarios.

‘Grid Start’ sees players taking control of any of the 10 Formula 1 teams during a simulation of the rain-interrupted race from Zandvoort, with the aim of bettering their chosen squad’s real-world result.

‘Race Moment’ on the other hand, is a specially-curated scenario based on the Mercedes team’s efforts (titled ‘Silver Linings’), throwing players into the action in the latter stages of the race just before a rain shower envelopes the circuit.

The ultimate goal is to score 15 points or more between George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in total, demanding exquisite timing to execute the optimal pitstop strategy.

Race Replay was the standout new feature in this year’s F1 Manager game for us at Traxion.GG, adding a little real-world connectivity to proceedings while also providing a bite-size dose of F1 Manager action.

The Dutch GP Race Replay additions arrive hot off the back of the game’s v1.6 team switching update earlier this week, with new Race Replays promised for inclusion after every Grand Prix weekend.
