NASCAR fans, it’s finally your time to shine! NASCAR headlines the next big Special Event located on the 2023 iRacing Special Event schedule.
Starting on Wednesday, the iRacing Daytona 500 will be taking place through the already existing NASCAR iRacing Series (NiS) official championship, in both the Fixed and Open setup series.
This is the fourth official Special Event on iRacing’s calendar for 2023, and it’s the first of four big NASCAR races that will be a part of and count towards the NiS schedule. The other three are the Coke 600 at Charlotte in May, the Bristol Night Race in September and the Phoenix finale in November.
NiS already follows the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for all 36 points paying race weeks on the real-world schedule. The series is for Oval Class C drivers and above (or Class D license holders with a Safety Rating of 4.0 or above).
The iRacing Daytona 500 will have nine time slots, five of which occur in the Fixed setup series and the other four in the Open setup series. Those times are listed below.
