Back in February, NASCAR Heat 5 announced their Ultimate Edition was available for PlayStation and Steam users. Rejoice, fans on Xbox! The Ultimate Edition is now available on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One users, but also compatible (but not optimized) for Xbox Series X / S users as well. The Ultimate Edition contains the entire game and all the DLC, and it can all be yours for $39.99/£32.99.

For gamers who already own the Standard Edition of NASCAR Heat 5, the Ultimate Edition DLC is available as well for an extra $29.99/£24.99. Everything since the release of the standard game will be included, like the Jimmie Johnson DLC Pack, Tony Stewart DLC Pack, NH5 Season Pass, NH5 December DLC Pack and NH5 Playoff Pack.

If you bought the Gold Edition of the game, the Top Up Pack available will get the December DLC and Playoff packs an extra $14.99/£11.99. These releases are all digital, just like the previous ones on PlayStation and Steam.

It would have released at the same time as the other platforms, but per the NASCAR Heat website, due to other promotions that were happening at the time, those had to be completed before adding another. It was still possible to get this latest content before the latest news, but in a more convoluted way. With all of the DLC, your game will be current through the entirety of the 2020 NASCAR season, but it’s not required since it’s mostly paint scheme additions and updates.

If you haven’t yet picked up a copy of NASCAR Heat 5, an online community of players still compete on either gaming console platform. In fact, the NASCAR Heat 5 Ultimate Summer Showdown is halfway complete, and you still have a chance to make the next round of the series at Pocono Raceway. Registration is open to all drivers since midnight on 11th July and winners can earn cash prizes up to $5,000, plus a BenQ Monitor. For more information on that, check out showdown.nascarheat.com
