NASCAR Heat 5 launches Jimmie Johnson and Playoff DLC packs

The current official game of the NASCAR championship, NASCAR Heat 5, has received not one, but two, car livery DLC packs.

The first of which is centred around Jimmie Johnson. The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion completed his final full-team season in 2020, as he focusses on a part-time IndyCar programme in 2021. Entitled the ‘Jimmie Johnson Pack’, it includes eight car designs from Jimmie’s 2020 season, two for Alex Bowman, two for Chase Elliott, one for William Byron in the Cup Series and one for Brett Moffitt in the Truck Series.

Priced at $6.99/£5.79, the DLC is also part of the Season Pass and Gold Edition of the game for no extra charge. It’s available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One players.

The second set of DLC for Heat 5 is not part of the Season Pass or the Gold Edition. A new additional set for all players, the Playoff Race Car Park features a massive 37 paint schemes that featured during the 2020 NASCAR Playoffs.

The recent Playoffs featured 16 drivers to crown the 2020 NASCAR Cup victor, which was Chase Elliott. The new set is priced at $9.99/£7.99. It’s available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One players.
