The new official NASCAR 25 video game has a release date – October 14th 2025.
This is only for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. While the title will hit Steam for PC players, a date for that has not been confirmed yet, although that’s expected “soon.”
Produced by iRacing, and predominantly created by the Monster Games team that the sim racing platform purchased in 2022, it will be a mix of that team’s prior experience, Unreal Engine for the graphics and some iRacing assets such as laser-scanned tracks and details car models.
No gameplay has been published yet, apart from trackside scenes within developer diaries and William Byron’s #24 Chevrolet seen in the release date announcement clip. It’s fleeting and hard to judge visual fidelity with a seemingly deliberately shaky camera and potentially some skipped frames. It glances the wall, leaving behind some particle effects.
The full gameplay unveil is expected “late August, somewhere in that window,” according to its producer, Matt Lewis.

The game is the first official NASCAR video game under iRacing’s stewardship, predominantly being developed by the Monster Games team it purchased in 2022 – an outfit that previously made the NASCAR Heat releases.
It will feature four NASCAR series, laser-scanned tracks, and online multiplayer with private lobbies. It will not feature cross-platform play or some kind of native ranked multiplayer.
We’ll keep you updated once the PC release date has been announced. Perhaps it should be noted that iRacing and Monster Game’s World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing ‘24 took around five months to make the jump from console to Steam.
