A new trailer for MotoGP 25 has just been unveiled, and it’s set to bring all the current real-world motorcycles, tracks and riders from the world’s premier motorcycle racing series to the game.
This will include silly season moves for Marc Marquez, who joins forces with Francesco Bagnaia at Ducati’s factory outfit for 2025, with current World Champion Jorge Martin surprisingly moving to Aprilla.
We run through all of MotoGP 25’s major new features below.
Arcade and Pro modes
Milestone’s game will also include an ‘arcade mode’ and a ‘pro mode’, potentially providing players with two very different ways to play MotoGP 25.
However, it’s more likely to be two separate rider assist presets, with the assists tweaked to match each mode, rather than timed gates in the former and different physics in the latter, for example.
Extra bike types
The trailer also revealed at least three new bike types for players to ride in-game. These include supermotos, minibikes and flat track motorcycles.
Flat track bikes make their first appearance in an officially licensed MotoGP game since 2016’s Valentino Rossi: The Game, which included the affable Italian’s infamous VR46 Motor Ranch facility.
There will be four dedicated tracks across two environments for the new motorcycles while riding them in the off-season helps “boost your rider’s fitness” alongside unlocking accessories.

Career mode returns
MotoGP’s career mode returns once again, retaining MotoGP 24’s Riders Transfer Market and Turning Points features, promising that ‘every season will be unique’. We shall see…
True cross-play
Previous incarnations of Milestone’s MotoGP games saw PC users excluded from its multiplayer cross-play mode, but for MotoGP 25 it will finally be supported, allowing Xbox, PlayStation and PC players to race against each other.
However, Nintendo Switch players will still be unable to join in the fun.
Local split-screen does return, however.

MotoGP 25 release date
MotoGP 25 will be release on the 30th April 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch.
