  • Two new cars also form part of the update
  • Release date TBC

Supernova Games Studios and Kunos Simulazioni have revealed that two classic stages from the Monte Carlo rally will be coming to Assetto Corsa Rally.

The timing of the announcement is apt, given the 2026 Monte Carlo has just got underway today (22nd January 2026), with typically mixed weather expected.

The Monte Carlo rally is synonymous with challenging road conditions: mountain roads start off dry in the valleys, then become increasingly slippery and snowy as drivers ascend the cols. It is hoped that AC Rally’s latest update will bring some of that ‘Monte magic’ to the game – and Team Traxion is very much here for it.

Scheduled for the v0.3 update this month, the iconic Labollenne (La Bollène-Vésubie) and Sisteron tests will be added to the Early Access rally title, and just like previous AC Rally stages, both have been built from the ground up using advanced laser-scan data.

Likewise, the stages will be available to drive in reverse direction and in various weather conditions, with some of the famous Monte Carlo frost visible in teaser images.

Whether v0.3 will feature the dreaded verglas remains to be seen, however…

The developers also confirmed that the new update would include two cars, one of which Traxion understands is likely to be the previously teased Škoda Fabia Rally2 machine. A release date has not yet been announced.
