Monster Energy Supercross The Official Videogame 6 released earlier this month on 9th March for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and on PC via Steam.

The previous five titles in the series have been wildly successful to this point, and it was revealed by the development team at Milestone that more than 2.3 million units of those previous titles have been sold so far, and that’s excluding the numbers gotten so far from the sixth and newest title.

A series that originally launched back in 2018, Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame series as launched annually since on all major platforms excluding the Nintendo Switch. The sales numbers for the niche form of motorsport is impressive nonetheless, averaging nearly half a million copies sold per release to date.

“Supercross is a very important title for Milestone,” said Supercross 6 Game Designer Luca Pellizzer to Traxion.GG.

“Someone in the company was already a big fan, but as time went on and we worked on the project, we started to appreciate the sport and its history more and more, and we all ended up becoming big fans.”

“In terms of sales, Supercross has given so much to Milestone, but we have also given so much to create the best Supercross game possible year after year.”

In our review of Supercross 6, we gave the newest title a “consider” on the Traxion.GG review scale, with Tom stating that “Monster Energy Supercross 6 is a fun, detailed, motorcycle racing game with a deep career mode, but if you played 5, there’s not enough new here.”
