The next major update is scheduled for 2nd September, with Mitsubishi joining Nissan’s R34 GT-R.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s next significant update will have a Japanese flavour, with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV confirmed for the car roster.
It joins the previously teased Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, and will be the first model in the game from the three-diamond brand.
This specific model depicted looks to be the GSR spec of the mid-1990s saloon, which features turbocharging and all-wheel drive for rally homologation.
It will be earned in-game by reaching Level 50 of the Solar Pass progression system, once Season 7 is released cross-platform on the 2nd September 2026. The aforementioned GT-R is unlocked at Level 15.
Two more Japanese vehicles are also expected, one unlocked at Level 1 and the other simply available from a dealership. Three modified vehicles based on existing models are expected in the online store. Several quality-of-life features will be included.
Publisher Nacon is expected to confirm further details about the update soon, plus the mid-season update and the highly-anticipated Season 8 patch, which will include houses.
