The seven-time world drivers’ champion has been the most used driver in EA SPORTS F1 24’s driver career.

Perhaps the most significant new feature for the EA SPORTS F1 24 racing game was a revamped driver career mode.

It allowed players, for the first time, to select a real-world competitor (as opposed to creating a virtual facsimile of themselves) and chart their progression through multiple seasons.

Electronic Arts and Codemasters have been able to glean from that data that suggests Sir Lewis Hamilton is the most selected driver – the majority of players seemingly intent on securing what would be his eighth crown.

Charles Leclerc was second ahead of 2024 champion Max Verstappen. 2025 full-time Haas driver Oliver Bearman has been the most popular driver from the Formula 2 roster, while Ayrton Senna led the icon pack.

In terms of tracks, the likes of Imola, Monza and Spa-Francorchamps don’t get a look in, apparently.

Bahrain International Circuit, Albert Park Circuit (Melbourne) and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit are the three most-driven locations. These happen to be the first three venues on this season’s calendar.

According to the developers, it ranks British drivers to be the ‘fastest’ ahead of Americans and Germans – although those from the GB also triggered the most red flags.

EA SPORTS F1 24 user stats

The stats push is part of EA positioning the official Formula 1 games as ‘live service’ offerings, alongside the F1 World game mode that debuted last year which includes limited-time events.

“Fans completed 2.21 billion miles, executed 23.62 million pit stops and demonstrated strong engagement with the game’s new features and live service content,” stated the US gaming giant.

“We are grateful for our players and look forward to providing even more engaging experiences as the real-world drama of Formula 1 unfolds,” said Senior Creative Director Lee Mather.
