One of our favourite accessible racing video games released this year, LEGO 2K Drive will be free-to-play for anyone on PC via Steam, PlayStation and Xbox for a limited period over the coming weeks.

It all begins on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S between 31st August and 3rd September 2023, then on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 between 7th-11th September.

During these periods, the full game with no time limits can be downloaded and enjoyed for free. The Nintendo Switch is not included in this promotion.

In our review, we enjoyed the environment and cheeky sensibilities. “The structure and world that LEGO 2K Drive has created for its desired audience is very much assured,” we said.

The title created by Visual Concepts is set for at least one year of optional paid downloadable content via a Drive Pass system, recently including cars from the Fast and the Furious movies.
