Joining the McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo, the Ford Mustang (LM)GT3 will be added to Le Mans Ultimate for free on Tuesday 25th February.
The confirmation comes as the official simulation of the FIA World Endurance Championship mixed up its DLC release strategy – instead of one final pack releasing this month, some content will be in February, the rest in May.
A further free car was always on the card, however, and that approach remains unchanged. It means that by the end of this month, anyone who purchases the early access Le Mans Ultimate game will have access to two LMGT3 vehicles for no further charge.

The duo sits alongside the existing 2023-season GTE, LMP2 and Hypercars as included content, with 2024-season Hypercars and the rest of the LMGT3 field as paid-for DLC.
Unlike the aforementioned McLaren, which has its engine mid-mounted, the ‘Stang has its powerplant up front. Powered by a 5.4-litre naturally aspirated V8 developed by M-Sport, it emits a deep rumble with a distinct tone.
The rest of the car was created by a Multimatic and Ford Performance collaboration.
It made its competitive debut last season, with some mixed results. Its best finish in WEC, run by Proton Competition, was a third-place finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans thanks to Dennis Olsen, Mikkel O. Pedersen and Giorgio Roda.

However, a Mustang did manage to win its class (GTD Pro) at the 2025 24 Hours of Daytona in January. The car was also added for free to Assetto Corsa Competizione last year.
Alongside this no-charge addition, the identity of the remaining two LMGT3 (DLC) cars is expected to be announced imminently, with the presumed release date coinciding with the Ford’s 25th February launch.
The platform celebrates one year on sale tomorrow, 20th February.
