Le Mans Hypercars lead Gran Turismo 7’s next update

Five new cars are coming to Gran Turismo 7 for free on 11th June 2026 – and four are real-world racing vehicles.

Polyphony Digital’s sim racing game led the charge, being one of the first titles with an LMH machine in the form of the Toyota GR010.

However, since the game’s release, it has started to lag behind other contemporary platforms, which will change next month.

Previewed at the Gran Turismo World Series event in Milan, Italy, the Porsche 963 LMDh, BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh, Ferrari 499P LMH and Peugeot 9X8 LMH will join the GT7 roster.

They will be joined by a Porsche 911 Safety Car, adorned with flashing lights and specific livery. It makes the first safety car for a Gran Turismo title since the Polyphony curated models first seen in GT Sport. It’s based on the 992-generation Turbo S model.
