Latest Ford Fiesta ST set for Forza Horizon 5

The next Festival Playlist, and therefore new cars, for Forza Horizon 5 are on the way soon – very soon, as the unveiling is scheduled for Monday 12th August.

Entitled ‘High Performance Dailies’ we expect practical, but peppy, cars such as a Ford Fiesta ST.

Funnily enough, the latest (and for now, final) iteration is the only car confirmed for inclusion so far.

The Mk7 hatchback (or Mk8 for those in the UK, strangely) has not been featured in Forza to date – the previous generation is available, however.

This particular version is the facelifted model with an updated nose. It has a diminutive 1.5-litre engine with just three cylinders and a turbocharger, making for an intriguing thrummy engine sound. Sadly, production of this model, and all Fiestas, has now ended.

If there are further, similar vehicles and yet another paid-DLC pack for Playground Games’ open-world driving title will be confirmed next week. Fresh collectables, race routes and EventLab props will arrive alongside the latest wheels.

The game update for PC and Xbox consoles will arrive on the same day as the announcements, but the playlist will not begin until Thursday 16th August, as per the regular schedule. It follows a ‘Cars & Coffee’ update and JDM-themed DLC pack last month.
