JDM: Japanese Drift Master has hit a delay a few weeks before its planned release. Originally slated for 26th March, the open-world drift racer will now launch on 21st May.
Developer Gaming Factory says the delay will allow “extra time for the final polish” and “refine every detail” to “deliver a game that meets and exceeds expectations.”
“From the very beginning, our guiding principle has been quality. Every drift, every car, every road has been carefully crafted to bring the most immersive open-world drifting experience possible,” the developer stated.
“After careful consideration, we believe that taking extra time for the final polish is the best course of action to deliver a game that meets and exceeds expectations.”

“We are confident that this additional time will allow us to refine every detail, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience from day one. The support, feedback, and enthusiasm of our community have been instrumental in our journey, and we remain committed to making JDM: Japanese Drift Master the best it can be.”
JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes players on a drifting journey in an open world inspired by Japan, featuring over 250 km of roads, a Manga-inspired story and licensed tuneable cars from Nissan, Mazda, Subaru and Honda, with more brands set to follow.
