iRacing’s Summer Sale is offering huge discounts, but there’s a catch

It’s a day for sales in PC sim racing land, with the Steam Summer Sale in full flow. iRacing is also getting in on the act by offering massive discounts on subscriptions until the 10th of July.

However, there’s one big caveat: discounted memberships are for new customers only.

Check out the discounted subscriptions below:

• 1 month: $5, 61% off
• 3 months: $12, 63% off
• 1 year: $40, 63% off
• 2 years: $70, $64% off

Lapsed or current members will likely have to wait until iRacing’s traditional Black Friday sale to see any subscription discounts, with content locked in at $14.95 for tracks and $11.95 for cars.

But in terms of value for new customers, the Summer Sale represents the cheapest way to get into the sim, and there’s still time for players to get up to speed ahead of the 6 Hours of the Glen Special Event this weekend.
