A next-gen edition of Inertial Drift, titled Inertial Drift: Twilight Rivals Edition, is going to be releasing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later in 2022.
Inertial Drift, from PQube and Level 91 Entertainment, currently exists on PC via Steam or Epic, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The new Twilight Rivals Edition will have the same slick dual-stick controls, but it will also contain brand new content.
An all-new Story Mode headlines the upcoming next-gen release, with Twilight Rivals coming in as the toughest competition yet. The Twilight Rivals Edition will come with 24 completely different cars, 14 challenging courses, and multiplayer for online and local entertainment.
With it releasing on the next-gen consoles, you’ll also get to choose between 120 FPS for top performance or 4K Resolution for the best quality.
Twilight Rivals expansion
If you don’t have a next-gen console but you’re a fan of Inertial Drift, you’re also in luck! There will be a Twilight Rivals Pack available later this year as well. The pack includes the Twilight Rivals Story Mode, four new tracks and their reverse counterparts, four new cars that are unique and more still to be announced.
That will come in the form of DLC, and whether its paid or not is still to be seen. What do you think about this update for Inertial Drift? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments below!
