Hidden away in the release notes of iRacing’s 2021 Season 1 build is a little nugget of information that will please supercar fans.
The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 comes to iRacing with the new build published today. There was a distinct lack of hyped up Facebook posts, Tweets or articles from the developers. A strange choice when they’re bringing one of the world’s premier supercar manufacturers to the platform for the first time.
This GT3 car is well-known in real life for competing in series such as GT World Challenge, British GT and IMSA. It features a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine and it’s aerodynamics were designed in conjunction with Dallara.
It’s not the only new car to join the service in Season 1 of 2021 – the new Dallara iR-01 open-wheeler joins the service today officially. Both cars are priced at $11.95 and available directly on the iRacing store.
