To commemorate the upcoming United States Grand Prix, there’s a free car livery and racing customisation items for all players of the F1 22 game.
Live yesterday (17th October), to collect the new design, firstly, boot the game on any platform.
Once loading and connected to the internet, the Player Hub will feature a yellow dot on the main home page. Navigate there and view your unread mail messages.
You will then see two separate messages from EA SPORTS Racing. One will feature the car livery, the second a helmet, gloves and race suit in a matching design.
Read each message and at the bottom right, select the ‘claim all’ button. This will add them to your in-game collection.
To apply the new look, visit the main F1 Life section of the home menu, customisation, then the ‘Casual & Race Wear’ option. Select an existing avatar, or create a new one, then use the controller’s shoulder buttons to tab to race wear.
Then you will find the new helmet, gloves and race suit. Snazzy.
For the car, visit ‘Player Car Liveries’ under the F1 Life customisation menu, and the new paint scheme will be selectable as a livery design.
Th invite for these items will expire, so act before 7th November. This is part of a recent game update that added the 2022 Formula 2 season, plus a third series for the Podium Pass.
