Developer Genki has confirmed that the DC5 Honda Integra Type R will be coming to Tokyo Xtreme Racer when v1.0 drops on the 25th of September.
The DC5 Integra is the seventh Honda to be confirmed for the arcade racer after the Japanese manufacturer signed a licensing deal with Genki in August.
It’s the second Integra to be announced for TXR after the DC2 model, with the DC5 featuring a more powerful two-litre engine and sportier styling.
However, another Honda was previewed in the same reveal trailer, and it’s the company’s iconic kei car: the Honda Beat.

Boasting a fearsome 656 cc and a five-speed gearbox, the Beat was the final car to be personally approved by Honda’s founder, Soichiro Honda. It’s a bit like Enzo Ferrari and the F40, really…
As it’s a kei car, the Beat is diminutive in size but makes up for it with a fun chassis, with a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. It should provide some company for the equally tiny Daihatsu Copen already confirmed for the game, at least.
