Dutch sim racing hardware manufacturer Heusinkveld has unveiled its MagShift Mini, a shifter which makes up for its modest size with heavy-duty performance.
Sitting alongside the firm’s proportionally correct MagShift shifter, the MagShift Mini is a stubbier alternative for sim racers with less space. At just 169 mm high, with its base measuring 57.5 mm by 19.5 mm, the all-aluminium MagShift Mini should fit into the tightest of sim racing setups.
The sequential shifter is set to deliver a typically Heusinkveld mechanical sensation when in operation, with users able to adjust the downshift and upshift forces separately (adjustable between 4 Kg and 8 Kg of force).
Thanks to its optoelectronic sensors, the MagShift Mini has fewer mechanical parts to wear out, with its plug-and-play nature allowing sim racers to jump straight into the cockpit. Extra inputs can also be unlocked using Heusinkveld’s proprietary SmartControl software.

The Heusinkveld MagShift Mini is available now, priced at €259 inc. VAT for European customers and € 214,05 EX. VAT for everyone else.
