Heusinkveld, the Dutch sim racing peripheral specialist, has announced the return of a two-stage competition for talented livery designers and sim racers alike this winter.

Participants will be hoping to emulate last year’s winners Angel Alfaro and Michal Smidl – winners of the livery and sim competition respectively – and this time around the prize up for grabs is a full set of Heusinkveld’s desirable mid-range simracing pedals, the Sim Pedal Sprints.

Named after the world’s fastest bird, (in terms of the speed measured as it dives to snatch its prey) The Heusinkveld Peregrine Competition sees skilled artists create liveries for the Oreca LMP2 car for Studio 397’s rFactor 2 sim, with the ten best going on to feature in the final Peregrine Competition race – as driven by the top ten hot lap qualifiers.

The livery design competition is open now until 29th November, with the top ten liveries announced 19th December. The hot lap competition runs from 22nd December – 3rd January and the fastest 10 drivers make their livery choices on 9th January. The Peregrine Competition final takes place on Saturday 15th January.

Who will win the title of ‘Best Livery Design’ and ‘Heuskinkveld Peregrine 2022’? The competition is open to anyone, so it could be you!

Or maybe Kes (ask your grandparents).
