Loek Hartog, who recently rose to prominence for his heroic conduct during a China GT Championship race, has been named a CONSPIT brand ambassador, the announcement said.

Hartog came to the attention of the world’s media after dramatically hauling Ollie Millroy from the burning wreckage of his Ferrari 296 GT3, after a huge impact had effectively trapped the Brit in his racecar.

Arriving at the scene before emergency responders, the Dutchman received praise for his quick thinking in partially extinguishing the flames before dragging Millroy to safety. Millroy sustained several fractures and a punctured lung in the incident, but is thought to make a full recovery in time.

The FIA Gold-rated driver is a race-winner in Porsche Supercup and won the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America. In 2025, he finished runner-up in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Bronze class with Rutronik Racing, then won the annual Porsche Cup award recognising the manufacturer’s most successful privateer driver.

Hartog will represent CONSPIT at this weekend’s SimRacing Expo, and will appear at the Chinese company’s booth (Hall 12, D8 and 9) on Saturday 17th October from 9 AM to 1 PM local time.

CONSPIT is renowned for its diverse range of sim racing products, including the 300GT steering wheel, CHS shifter and affordable ARES APEX wheelbase and pedals Bundle. It is hoped the brand will debut new products over the course of this year’s exhibition.

The SimRacing Expo Frankfurt takes place between 16th and 18th October 2026. Tickets are available in advance or upon entry.
