It’s that time of the week again – Thursday, and that means a new season with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist, and this time, a new Treasure Hunt challenge.
The ‘Hold Your Horses’ event within Series 1, spring, will net you 50,000 in-game credits and three points to work your way towards the Season Rewards. This week, they are the Raesr TS ‘19 for 24 points and the Toyota Trueno for 44 points, both of which are of ‘epic’ status.
To participate in this event, first of all, you need a Ford Mustang, and handily, any sort of Ford Mustang. Old, new, it doesn’t matter and several are available from the Autoshow.
Next up, jump in your favourite Mustang and participate in PR Stunts until you receive 10 stars. PR Stunts are located around the map in several locations and you can filter the map to see where they are.
You don’t need to get three stars on each PR Stunt, just 10 stars in total while driving a Mustang.
Once you’ve participated in enough successful PR Stunts, a transparent red circle will appear on the map. This is the start of the Treasure Hunt.
Located just above Cordillera, north of the highway, the Treasure Chest is off-centre, to the right, of the red circle. In fact, here it is in the picture below. We’re kind like that. Simply drive up to it and the loot is yours.
#ShoppingSpree Photo Challenge
A more straightforward challenge this week in Forza Horizon 5 is #ShoppingSpree. A Forza Link message, “Special Delivery”, is the prize, alongside two Festival Playlist points.
This is so easy this week, you don’t need a guide. Simply hope in any van or utility vehicle – we’ve used a classic Ford Transit – and visit Guanajuato City which is northeast on the map. When you’ve arrived, or fast-travelled, simply open the camera app with up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture.
Then you can bask in the rewards, easy.
SERIES 1 HOT SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS
This week it’s Hot Season in the Forza Horizon 5 #FORZATHON shop and there’s a bevy of interesting items to spend your hard-earned Forza Points on.
There’s a rather collectable Audi R8 Coupe V10 Plus 5.2 FSI Quattro which is not available for outright purchase via the Autoshow. Alternatively, you can pick up the Porsche 911 GT1 1998 for 600 Forza Points instead of the 2.5 million credits from the shop.

- Beautiful Morning Car Horn, 75 FP
- Audi R8 Coupe V10 Plus 5.2 FSI Quattro, 400 FP

#FORZATHON Weekly Challenge New Benchmark
But, what is the #FORZATHON store without Forza Point? To attain 160 FP, you can complete the #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge, New Benchmark.
You’ll need the Ferrario 488 Pista from the Autoshow first, though, but once you do search for the share code 157 408 668 for our special tune.
