Grid Finder launches sim racing livery marketplace

Grid Finder, best known as a sim racing league management and community tool, has launched a livery marketplace today, 12th June.

Paint scheme creators can add their designs to the platform, after registering for an account, and set their own pricing. As of right now, there are over 200 designs available, some paid, some free. Pricing is set by the creator.

14 games, or platforms, are currently supported – from iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione to Gran Turismo 7 and Forza Motorsport.

Those who host their designs on the platform will have access to a dashboard which provides performance analytics and unlimited uploads. Grid Finder charges a 10 per cent fee for every livery sold.

“After four months of development, the Grid Finder livery marketplace is now live,” said Nikhil Patel, CTO at Grid Finder.

“Anyone can submit their designs, across at least 14 different games, and have the opportunity of being paid for their efforts. We’re looking forward to seeing the creative side of sim racing.

“For drivers, there’s now a paint scheme service that works across multiple platforms in one place.

“This is just the first marketplace we plan to launch, with more expected across the rest of the year, plus further updates to the livery tool as we progress.”

Initial offerings include designs by Positive Perception, Ozerdogan Design, RBDK Liveries and PSD Custom Liveries, among others.

The marketplace is open now for both creatives and those looking for a fresh design to race with.
