The Gran Turismo World Series competition will culminate at a Japanese World Final, with Fukuoka to host the title-decider.
This will follow three other events, making up a four live event calendar preceded by a series of in-game online qualifiers.
The World Series is the peak of the Gran Turismo 7 competitive scene, with qualifying open to all on PlayStation 4 and 5 with a copy of the game. Using the title’s Sport Mode, following a series of ranked multiplayer races, the best drivers in the world will join the three best drivers from last year’s competition in a world tour.
Points are collected from each of the four rounds, with the winners in two competitions decided in December at the Japanese event: the solo Nations Cup and the team-based Manufacturers Cup.
The online qualifiers start on 2nd April and run until 10th May 2025.
Last year, Takuma Miyazono took the coveted Nations Cup crown for Japan, while Lexus won the Manufacturers Cup thanks to drivers Igor Fraga, Harald Walsen, Coque López and Kanata Kawakami.
The World Finals took place in Amsterdam. This year, the southern Japanese island of Kyushu will serve as host to the two-day finale. The other events are expected to follow a one-day format, as seen in the 2024 competition.

Exact venue details will be unveiled at a later date, with public tickets on sale for each.
As a result of their performances last season, Miyazono Kylian Drumont and Jose Serrano have already guaranteed a Nations Cup spot.
