A fresh notice of server maintenance has been posted to the Gran Turismo website, which can mean only one thing – the next update for Gran Turismo 7 will arrive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners on Thursday 30th March.

The next update will feature five cars, which we believe to be variants of the following:

  • Porsche 959
  • Porsche 904 / Carrera GTS
  • Toyota Alphard
  • Mazda 3
  • Audi RS5 DTM

The exact specification of each car, or in-game price, is yet to be revealed, alongside any quality-of-life changes or new events. We expect a teaser trailer sometime this week, then the full changelog on the 30th upon patch deployment.

Goodbye GT Sophy, for now

Sony AI and Polyphony Digital’s collaboration to create the most authentic racing artificial intelligence witnessed its first public test, following Gran Turismo 7’s February update.

The ‘Play Togther’ test, however, was a limited-time feature designed at gathering data and feedback. It will disappear from the game at the end of 29th March, ahead of the new update on the 30th.

If you’ve not tried it yet, now’s your final warning.
