Sony and Polyphony Digital have confirmed the exact car specifications for Gran Turismo 7’s next update.
It was announced last week, via Series Producer Kazunori Yamauchi, that three cars would be added to the racing video game. From the teaser image, we ascertained a Honda N-ONE, a Nissan Qashqai and a rare tuned Nismo Nissan Skyline GT-R R34.
Now, the included models have been unveiled, and it’s… Honda N-ONE, a Nissan Qashqai and a rare tuned Nismo Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. At least we now know the exact model years, and that further single-player content will also be part of the mix.
Below are the key details, but we also have a run-down of the best engine swaps and customisation items included too.
Three new cars
- Honda N-ONE RS ’22 – Brand Central – 302.12pp – 20,000 credits
- NISMO R34 GT-R Z-tune ’05 – Brand Central – 591.24pp – 3,000,000 credits
- Nissan Qashqai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power ’22 – Brand Central – 420.67pp – 39,000 credits
Let’s get straight to it – the Qashqai is a humdrum crossover, with a hybrid drivetrain (which may, or may not, mean a lack of tuning options) that follows four other similar vehicles in recent months. There’s not much to it, so let’s move on.

The Honda, however, is a lot more interesting. Yes, it’s slow. But, it’s slow-car-fast. Small, light weight, turbocharged, and as it’s the RS model, it has a six-speed manual gearbox. In Japan, there’s even a one-make race series. It’s also a curiosity for most, as it’s not sold in Western markets. Plus, just imagine the tuning and livery permutations – peak Gran Turismo.

So is the Skyline. Yes, the R34-generation GT-R is already in the game. But, this is the rare NISMO Z-tune. As it was technically registered as a ‘NISMO’ (Nissan’s performance arm) and not a ‘Nissan’, it didn’t have to conform to the agreement to cap vehicles to 276bhp at the time.

So it has a full-fat 500bhp and only 19 were made, including two prototypes. That scarcity means they often exchange for well over $1 million.
More GT Sophy
The slow rollout of Sony AI and Polyphony Digital’s racing agent continues, as perennial Gran Turismo venue High Speed Ring joins the comparable roster.
No, you can’t use GT Sophy as part of the main ‘career’ events still. Boo.

Further races and scapes
As ever, there are further photographic scenes, this time themed around pine trees, and the following three single-player races will be added to the World Circuits area:
- Lightweight K-Cup – Nürburgring Nordschleife
- Japanese FF Challenge 450 – Alsace – Test Course
- Race of Turbo Sportscars – Fuji International Speedway

One additional livery will be available for the existing Lexus RC F GT3, one used by Gran Turismo virtual racing champion Igor Frafa in the real-world 2025 Super GT championship.
No, there are no new tracks, or Cafe Menu Books – but there should be more, likely engine swaps. We’ll update this article tomorrow, 24th July, when the update arrives for PS4 and PS5 with the full patch notes.
